Backyard Discovery Arcadia 12 x 9.5 ft Cedar Gazebo with Slope Roof and PowerPort

The Arcadia Gazebo by Backyard Discovery combines cedar construction with a modern sloped steel roof to create a practical outdoor living space. Its 12 x 9.5 ft footprint provides room for compatible seating, dining furniture, and outdoor accessories.

In addition, the gazebo includes a patented PowerPort for convenient electrical access. As a result, homeowners can create an outdoor area suitable for relaxing, dining, entertaining, and everyday backyard activities.

Arcadia Gazebo Features and Benefits

This outdoor structure combines natural cedar with heavy-duty metal components. Therefore, it provides the warm appearance of wood together with a durable steel roof and reinforced hardware.

Arcadia Gazebo 12 x 9.5 ft Design

The 12 x 9.5 ft footprint provides a coverage area of approximately 114 square feet. For example, the available space can accommodate compatible outdoor seating, dining furniture, or a lounge arrangement.

Moreover, the rectangular layout makes the structure suitable for many residential patios and backyards. Consequently, homeowners can adapt the interior area to different outdoor activities.

100% Cedar Wood Construction

Backyard Discovery constructs the wooden frame from 100% cedar. In addition, the natural material provides strength and resistance to decay while creating a warm outdoor appearance.

Meanwhile, robust 6 x 6 inch cedar posts provide substantial structural support. Powder-coated steel brackets and anchors add further reinforcement to the design.

Arcadia Gazebo Slope Roof Design

The Arcadia Gazebo features a modern slope roof with a 5-degree pitch. This design helps prevent water accumulation while creating clean architectural lines.

Furthermore, Backyard Discovery uses a heavy-duty 29-gauge black steel roof. The material provides resistance to dents and corrosion for outdoor use.

29-Gauge Steel Roof

The steel roof combines durability with a contemporary appearance. Therefore, the structure provides overhead coverage while maintaining the distinctive sloped profile of the Arcadia design.

5-Degree Roof Pitch

A 5-degree pitch encourages water to move away from the roof surface. As a result, the design reduces water accumulation while maintaining a relatively low and modern profile.

Arcadia Gazebo PowerPort

The patented PowerPort adds convenient electrical connections to the outdoor living area. Specifically, the U.S. configuration provides three electrical outlets and three USB ports.

For example, compatible connections can support lighting, mobile device charging, and other suitable outdoor accessories. However, the PowerPort requires an external power source, which is not included.

Convenient Outdoor Power

The PowerPort can mount to a post on the structure. Consequently, users gain easier access to electricity within the gazebo instead of relying entirely on distant indoor connections.

Always follow the manufacturer’s electrical and safety instructions when using powered accessories outdoors.

Arcadia Gazebo Weather Performance

Backyard Discovery uses its Pro-Tect testing standards for the Arcadia structure. When properly anchored according to the manufacturer’s instructions, the gazebo is tested for substantial roof loads and wind resistance.

In particular, the manufacturer lists testing up to 5,800 pounds of roof load and wind speeds up to 100 mph for the current 12 x 9.5 ft Arcadia configuration.

Wind-Resistant Engineering

Proper anchoring plays an essential role in structural performance. For this reason, installers should follow the Backyard Discovery instruction manual and specified anchoring procedure.

Heavy-Duty Roof Construction

The 29-gauge steel roof is designed for demanding outdoor conditions. In addition, its corrosion-resistant construction supports long-term residential outdoor use when correctly maintained.

Arcadia Gazebo for Outdoor Living

The versatile interior can support several types of outdoor arrangements. Therefore, homeowners can configure the available area according to their preferred activities.

Outdoor Dining Area

A compatible table and chairs can create a dedicated outdoor dining area. For instance, the space can accommodate family meals, casual gatherings, or weekend entertaining.

Backyard Lounge Space

Alternatively, compatible outdoor chairs or lounge furniture can create a relaxing conversation area. In this way, the gazebo becomes a defined destination within the backyard.

Patio and Garden Use

The combination of cedar and black steel works with many residential outdoor styles. Moreover, its relatively compact footprint makes the structure suitable for a variety of patio and garden layouts.
